Basement Vault Job in 21 Paulton Square

STAGE 1

During our work on other premises, the client asked us to check the Vault because there are visible traces of wet stains and dampness in the walls built of wooden frames and plasterboard by earlier Contractors.
The method by earlier Contractors was poorly selected and refined because wood is not used in places exposed to water such as Vault, Basement, and Cellar.
The poorly developed method by other Contractors because the Cavity drain membrane applied to the bricks did not fulfil the waterproofing function, and the Sump Pump system did not work because it was poorly serviced.

Therefore, we offered to re-make the Cavity Drain Membrane with the new Sump Pump system.

STAGE 2

We began by removing the mounted gypsum boards on the wooden frame.
The photos show errors in the assembly of the cavity drain membrane by previous contractors; the membrane connections have not been sealed.
We decided to remove the entire plates and the membrane with the customer as further leaks was at risk.

STAGE 3

Assembling the Cavity drain membrane with the replacement of the drainage system, i.e. the Sump Pump system.

STAGE 4

Complete Installation of Cavity Drain Membrane on the floor and ceiling; the drainage system is in operation (Sump Pump).
The Cavity drain membrane is tight, and any leaking water through the walls and ceiling is drained directly to the Tank with a Sump pump.

STAGE 5

Assembly of Cavity Drain Membrane was complete on 22/12/21.

On 5/22/22, we checked the Vault to make sure nothing was leaking.
The Cavity Drain Membrane drainage system is operational, and you can not see any traces of water on the ceiling, walls and floor.
