Project Highlight: Waterproofing and Restoration at SW3 4QF
At SW3 4QF, we undertook a significant project aimed at addressing recurring issues of water infiltration into a vaulted space. This challenging task required a multifaceted approach to ensure a durable and lasting solution.
Waterproofing Solution: To combat water ingress, we employed a specialized Cavity Drain Membrane system combined with a mesh system, integrated with drainage channels. This choice of system was crucial as it provides immunity to the vibrations generated by the constant traffic passing overhead, ensuring long-term effectiveness.
Protection and Aesthetics: To further fortify the structure against moisture, we applied two coats of hydrophobic render onto the membrane. This protective layer not only enhances waterproofing but also acts as a barrier against external elements.
Interior Work: In addition to waterproofing, our team also screeded the floor to create a level surface for various purposes. The finishing touch involved decorating the space according to the client’s specifications, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics were met.
