Crystalline Injection
Crystal Damp-Proofing & Basements uses a horizontal injection DPC system and a vertical crystal injection system at each corner to block the passage of moisture from other walls.
The crystal is poured into the holes that were previously drilled at an interval distance, between each hole, of 80-100mm. The holes are drilled about 50mm from the floor. If the external ground level is above the DPC level, then it is recommended to do:
– 2 or 3 horizontal/vertical lines or more depending on the external ground level.
As a result of introducing the injection mass into the injection holes, horizontal and vertical insulation is created inside the partition (wall). The insulating layer consists of water-soluble minerals that settle in the pores and capillaries of the building material, preventing the accumulation of water in them. All this makes the discussed methods applicable for dehumidifying buildings with and without a basement.
