Properties with solid walls often suffer from cold surfaces and dew point issues, leading to persistent condensation. For this Croydon property, we implemented a comprehensive ISO-THERM insulation system to permanently eliminate the dampness.
The Installation Process:
- We installed highly effective, space-saving orange ISO-THERM lining across the walls, reinforcing the seams with mesh tape. This system raises the surface temperature, preventing internal warm air from hitting the cold dew point of the exterior walls.
- Once the ISO-THERM system was in place, the walls were completely replastered to create a seamless, smooth finish. We then fully redecorated the space, completing the room with fresh paint, a new ventilation window, integrated LED spotlights, and warm wood laminate flooring.
